This doc is about the very famous and very cool Gloria Steinem. I won’t even get on my preach-daddy-horse to all the latest n greatest ever-modern, ever-ineffective “activists” of today because GUESS WHAT, I’m behind a computer and it’s much more fun to do in real life ;)
Back to Gloria and my stupendous review. Despite being capable, brilliant, and selfless, Gloria couldn’t get her foot in the door of the working world. As with many smart and striking women at the time, no one in business took her seriously.
This doc explores her path into journalism and the many twists and turns that led her to ultimate iconhood. Which, by the way, was never not once even a little her intention. BECUASE BACK TO THE TOP, she was a pure activist. There to serve the mission and nothing else. Very inspiring.
